The current study investigated memory conformity effects between individuals who witness and then discuss a criminal event, employing a novel procedure whereby each member of a dyad watches a different video of the same event. Each video contained unique items that were thus seen only by one witness. Dyads in one condition were encouraged to discuss the event before each witness individually performed a recall test, while in a control condition dyads were not allowed to discuss the event prior to recall.
Possible social and cognitive mechanisms underlying the distortions of memory due to conformity are discussed.

I know it took lots and lots of your time for each small thing to be worked out.
It was great to touch base with so many classmates. Please thank others for us and are you working on the next one??? From Jan Bjornby: Thanks to everyone who talked me into coming to the reunion, especially Cindy Hutson. It was a long way to travel from Norway, but I am so glad that I did. I didn't think I would know anyone at the reunion, but I did and I am so glad that I came. I only thing that would have made it better is if it was longer! I will be ready with my wheel chair or walker for the next reunion!
From David Kimmelshue : Congrats to everyone who worked to put on the reunion. It was excellent. Facilities, food, entertainment were excellent. I really can't come up with the right words to thank the 50th Reunion Committee. What a great job, every detail was covered it was truly amazing. To think that I was actually considering not attending! In hindsight, that would have been the mistake of a lifetime. Truly, one of the best parts for me was that I got to know so many classmates that I was not really close to when I was in school.
I tended to travel in a circle of about a dozen close friends and that was truly my loss. It was great seeing everyone and I wish you all the joy and happiness that life has to offer. Now if I can only figure out how to get this permanent grin off of my face! The two-night party was terrific. The updated Sidelights is amazing. Thank you for the CD full of musical hits from our era. I am looking forward to seeing you all again next time. The committee did a wonderful job and gave all of us a magnificent 50th reunion that we all will remember fondly.
Thanks to all on the committee for making this happen. I watched the DVD the other day of the Towson area and all the places that brought back so many fun memories and the music video, thanks Vanita.

The update Sidelights brought us information about our classmates that were unable to make the reunion. It will be difficult for any Towson 50th to beat ours; thanks again. If there is to be a 55th or a 60th count me in; God willing. The best to all of you. I thought everything was perfect.
I was also impressed with the Sheraton Hotel. The food was great and everything else was done very well. I know everyone on the committee worked very hard and for a long time to pull this off. I have put on events and have attended many events, so I know what goes into something like that. Thanks for all of your hard work. Music was great too!! Everyone I spoke to could not stop talking about how much fun the reunion was and what a great job everyone on the committee did. Hope you have had a chance to catch your breath and hope everyone else has thanked you. Contrary to popular opinion these things do not happen by themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was great and I really had a good time. From my chair, I want to thank every one of you for your efforts, patience, perseverance, kindness and support in making this such an extraordinary weekend. All of the comments and perspectives that were shared during the evening, and the fascinating vision I have been building looking through the yearbook lend huge credibility to the vision of how the shape of our lives is so intricately developed and interlaced with one another over time - be it from THS or even back to our elementary school years.
People especially liked the yearbook, which is kind of ironic since it was so hard to get so many of them to send in their info. They liked the result, though. I heard that over and over while checking people in on Saturday, after they had had a chance to start reading it on Friday night. Does everyone remember the big howl of disappointment that went up when the lights when on at 11 on Saturday?
I think we can all feel very proud of how well the reunion turned out and how popular it was with everyone. I think special thanks, though, go to Jackie, Donna, Cindy, Peter, and Dottie for their over-the-top efforts during the last year and especially the last couple months to make this all possible and so successful.
So when's the after-show cast party? I will never forget the faces and the fun! Their attention to detail was truly awesome. There was nothing left wanting - other than a magic wand that transported us back to that golden time we all l ived, and probably didn't appreciate at the time. I think we should have one every six months! Thanks so much for the dedication you and your families experienced for months and months. It was well worth it and much appreciated! Thanks a million! I just started looking through the yearbook and am really enjoying it.
It brings back lots of wonderful memories of THS. Thank you so much for sending them. Best regards!

It could not have been nicer, and as others have already said, not one thing was left undone. It was such fun to have the photographer on the premises on Saturday evening taking our pictures, and immediately printing them out. We all managed to group friends together for photos we took home as reminders of the great time we had reminiscing about our years at Towson High School.
Thanks for making the entire reunion such a success! Had a wonderful time! I had time to reflect on a long flight home, and I realized how lucky I was to have shared my high school years with such a wonderful group of people. I know how much hard work went into this past weekend. Well, I, for one, really appreciate it. So please thank anyone and everyone who contributed. Many, many thanks.
You guys did a fantastic job! The weekend of the reunion will be a blast!
